My current desktop is senn HD 599, ifi zen dac, and streaming on Tidal HiFi. I previously had ath-m50x and QC15. The open-back HD 599 is definitely my favorite in terms of sound stage and comfort, but wanted to upgrade my listening experience.

10 Νοε 2016 · The HD599’s official price in Sennheiser’s shop is €249, VAT included (free shipping) and that seems to be the price on Amazon as well right now. It’s a great price for a really nice looking and sounding headphone but at the same time the HD600 is only 50€ more on Amazon.

Recently got the HD 599 for $200. Coming from the HD 58X as my daily drivers. Here's my impressions. Comfort - The 599 are very comfortable. They are very light on my head and not a lot of clamping force, so they are definitely great for long listening sessions.
