6 Δεκ 2020 · You can get to 275+ horse with the right teen, intake, 4 barrel, and mild cam. A horse/cube with flat tops and a rumbly cam. With a little porting and headers even more. Teens respond well to modifications. (like most mild engines do) Nothing wrong with a 300 horse 318.
31 Ιουλ 2023 · Planning for some builds begins with the heads, and everything else is selected/changed/machined around that. If you're rebuilding the whole motor, you may have more options and you'll have better luck finding the perfect camshaft to meet your needs.

13 Ιαν 2015 · I sourced the kit from a company out of Lansing Mi. called Muscle Motors. They have two options for a 383, a 450 and a 496 kit. I went with the 450 kit to keep it street friendly and avoid having to clearance the block.
