Fill in your name, e-mail address and a password. After the account has been created, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Click on the confirmation link provided in the e-mail to activate your SWITCH edu-ID account. Start edu-ID HSG LinkingApp again and log in using your SWITCH edu-ID credentials.
The email address you receive with your HSG user account is used to log in to the HSG platforms, Microsoft 365 and the campus WLAN (eduroam). You only need your HSG username to use the VPN client and a computer workstation on campus.

SWITCH edu-ID. The SWITCH edu-ID offers users, students and staff, the following advantages: One identity for all services in the Swiss university environment, regardless of the organisation. The identity is valid for life. It extends beyond the affiliation to an organisation. Users control the content and scope of their identity.
