The sewing machine is driven by an AC universal motor. This video informs you about the Electronics and sensors to control the speed. The Circuits are home m...
8 Απρ 2020 · Circuit schematic of the controller is shown in this video along with circuit explanation. TRIAC and DIAC solid state devices are explained in detail to understand the Foot pedal circuit...
20 Ιαν 2010 · This is a do-it-yourself electronics project in which I replaced the original motor and speed controller in an inexpensive sewing machine (Singer Inspiration 4210) with a heavy-duty DC...
29 Οκτ 2023 · The old motorized sewing machines and the new cheaper sewing machines use universal AC-motors with open loop control of voltage to motor from pedal. They have obvious control problems of speed, but most users learned to sew on them anyway.
2 Νοε 2023 · I have built a sewing machine motor control that implements much of what you seem to be looking for. It uses an Arduino Nano to control a standard sewing machine motor. The motor itself is from a typical universal motor kit such as you can buy to fit nearly all vintage sewing machines.
31 Αυγ 2023 · It is far easier to use than the controller that came with the motor. When I can find the time, I’ll implement the PID-controller with the tachometer feedback. I’ll put all the schematics and software up on Github when that’s all done and working. A sewing machine motor speed control - Table of Contents
I am building a speed controller for my sewing machine based on phase angle control. The design uses an Arduino to read pulses from a zero-crossing circuit and subsequently trigger a triac, limiting power to the sewing machine's AC motor. Optocouplers are used for isolation purposes.
