If you can ignore the bumpy slow weedy greens, bare spots, long weedy fairways, dirt in bunkers, porta potties on course, dirty rundown clubhouse restrooms, online tee time system that isn't accurate, online rates that aren't accurate, and slow play, it can be a pleasant experience.
You have real complaints, you do----they're just not with my review, but rather with the sub-par (pun so totally intended) golf course that you are cursed with. Tell you what: you ever want to play on a REAL course, you just come on up to the City, play a round at Harding.
The fairways on 1,2,15,16 and 17 are truly awful but with the drought and for $28 bucks who's complaining. Sharp Park is a beautiful, cheap, Alister Mackenzie course near San Francisco. Unfortunately it’s managed pretty poorly and the greens are in sad shape but still worth playing there at least once!
Played yesterday and it's the same old thing! Greens are slow, fairways thin and some are dirt (16 and 17). I was not in a bunker but they looked ok. I have to say I love the layout but for $41.00 during the week (nonresident) to walk it's too much.
