Requests may be made by filing and serving a Notice of Remote Appearance (form RA-010) and proposed Order Regarding Remote Appearance (form RA-020). If you have questions about these procedures, you may call the court at (530) 245-6789.
Notice of Remote Appearance (RA-010) Tells the court that you or a witness intends to appear at a court proceeding remotely, either by telephone or video, rather than in person. May also be used to tell other parties that you will be attending remotely, and to tell the court how you told each of the other parties about the remote appearance.
Your court may send you a notice that your hearing will be remote. If they didn't and you need to appear remotely, you can ask for a remote hearing.
Order Regarding Remote Appearance. (RA-020) States the court’s decision on whether a party or witness has to appear at a court proceeding in person or may appear remotely, and any limitations on the remote appearance. Get form RA-020.
(1) The Court has two remote appearance platforms available: Zoom (audio and video) and CourtCall (audio only). They may be used concurrently during the same Court session unless otherwise determined by the judicial officer. The Court may, at its discretion and upon notice to the public, move to a single service provider for all remote hearings.
