In this installment of Rare Rides, we’re going to have a look at one of them, the 1969 Shelby GT500 convertible.
7 Νοε 2020 · This 1969 GT500 Convertible is a stunning survivor, and it is a relatively rare car. There were 3,150 examples of the GT500 produced in 1969, but a mere 335 were the Convertible variant.
1969 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible – sold for $95,000. Here before you is one of the rarest and highly optioned GT500 convertibles ever produced! There were only 9 convertibles finished in Black Jade, White interior and the 4-speed manual transmission.

Under the hood, the GT500 was once again powered by Ford’s Super Cobra Jet 428 V8 engine, which delivered power through a C6 automatic transmission and Traction-Lok limited-slip rear axles. The 1970 GT500 could also be optioned to include a 4-speed manual transmission.
