9 Μαΐ 2021 · I have three McGowen Remage barrels: .260 Ackley, .243 Ackley, .22-250 Ackley (see a trend?). All mounted on Remington actions that had the action and bolt faces trued. All are shooters.
21 Δεκ 2019 · Shilen gets talked about and has some fans for sure but I figure its kind of a roll of the dice anyways. Does Criterion seem to make a comparable quality barrel, or should I just go with whats a known brand to me?
11 Απρ 2011 · My understanding is that they started out in the Krieger factory in 1999 to meet a market need for a less expensive to make barrel. One or more of the employees then went on their own and started the current Criterion name.

These barrels, supplied already threaded, chambered, crowned and polished by Shilen, are available in all Shilen contours and chamberings. To complete a beautifully precise fitting job, the gunsmith must add just a few finishing touches.
