Gun-smith great to work with, personal attention to project and chambers barrel as per dummy cartridge. My last one was a 8 twist 6mm-06. Large selection of barrel contours, chambering, and actions.

23 Φεβ 2013 · I've got 2 shilen barrels right now both in a 6mm chambering. I couldn't be happier with the one- but the second was pretty disappointing. It took a lot of work to find a load that it would shoot good and it collected copper like no other barrel I've ever seen.

21 Δεκ 2019 · Shilen gets talked about and has some fans for sure but I figure its kind of a roll of the dice anyways. Does Criterion seem to make a comparable quality barrel, or should I just go with whats a known brand to me?
22 Απρ 2017 · I've heard that Shilen .920" barrels have a tighter chamber than their sporter contour barrels, but I'm not certain about that. I also have a KIDD 20" Taper barrel that is superbly accurate (in an all-KIDD build) as are my other KIDD barrels.
