Both very similar diners (my hometown actually has them across the street from each other lol), but iirc Shari's has better desserts and drinks while Denny's has better wings and other fried fare. Reply reply
From when I went to Shoney's like 25 years ago, I don't believe they ever served alcohol. (its an animated show about a Space/time traveling scientist and his grandson, that can transform himself into a sentient pickle, yet I scoffed at this throwaway line about Shoney's serving booze....)
