This will show you the devices and drivers from programs you no longer use, it will free up some disk space, not to mention help resolve potential conflicts between drivers that are no longer needed.

13 Δεκ 2022 · So there are 2 ways I know of to show hidden devices: 1. In the Device Manager we go to View > Show hidden devices. 2. In the command prompt we enter: Set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1. Devmgmt.msc.
Devices that you install that are not connected to the computer (such as a Universal Serial Bus [USB] device or "ghosted" devices) are not displayed in Device Manager, even when you click Show hidden devices.

If you're using Windows 7 or earlier, you won't see any nonpresent devices when you enable the option to show hidden devices.

Now you will be able to see all the devices including the ones that are hidden because they are no longer present in your system.
7 Ιουλ 2013 · To view them on Windows 7, Vista, or XP, you'll have to launch the Device Manager in a special way. First, open a Command Prompt window. Run the following commands in it: set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1. start devmgmt.msc. The Device Manager will open and will now show all hidden devices when you select Show hidden devices from the View menu.
