However, by default, it doesn't show all devices. Some of them are hidden due to being unused, outdated, or uninstalled.
Run the Device Manager by typing devmgmt.msc at a command prompt and pressing Enter, and then choosing View Display Hidden Devices, and they will appear. Displaying ghosted or nonpresent devices takes a little more work.
