Windows Home is plenty useful for a single computer for normal use at home with very few or no other PCs in the same network.

I have win 10 pro on my main desktop only because of remote desktop. Pair it with port forwarding and I can access my desktop anywhere anytime . Windows remote desktop is a lot better than other remote solutions as it scales the display perfectly to whatever device you use and it's super fast.
