I want to get into tutoring and joined a site called Tutors.com, but I'm having trouble determining if they're legit. If anyone has experience with them, please let me know! I was signed up with them and got alerts for students and emailed them but never ever got a response.. I pulled my profile from them.
I then went on Google and Yelp and posted honest reviews advising what we discussed here. Only after those negative reviews were published, I received a callback from a “supervisor” who could not have been more patronizing and phony.

This company is nothing short of a scam, and I strongly advise anyone considering their services to steer clear and save themselves from the anguish and financial loss I have endured. Firstly, let's address the issue of their tutors canceling on me without any notice.
