Siberian Huskies originated in Northeast Asia where they are bred by the Chukchi people as well as the Koryak, Yukaghir and Kamchadal people of Siberia for sled pulling and companionship. The lineage of the Siberian Husky reaches back thousands of years when they were selectively bred by the Chukchi people based in Russia for their exceptional working abilities and prowess at pulling sleds.
