Kit version of the Kadet Senior was modified with lower dihedral and added custom ailerons. Originally covered with red and blue translucent coverings similar to OPs as my Dad planned to install lights but did not push through as LED strips were nonexistent when my Dad was still build happy.
1 Οκτ 2010 · One was a new kit that I built "by the manual" as a result of my "post" conversation with the designer of the SSE. Great flier with an easy 720 degree / second roll rate with the high rates dialed in. Definitely a giggle-n-grin plane.
27 Ιαν 2023 · I don't plan to build it anytime soon, but figured I should buy up any kits still left. It's still unclear what products they will offer after the move. My guess is that they'll probably move to all laser cut on demand to save costs if they continue to offer kits.

23 Νοε 2009 · My choice for the first kit...Sig Mid Star 40. Typical "rc airplane" looking model. Mostly it will be built by the plans, the only "personal" touch will be two servos and 2 inch ailerons...
27 Οκτ 2008 · I don't have pictures to post, but it's my 4th Sig kit to build, and the laser cutting makes it nice. I built mine with the tricycle landing gear and the ground handling is as easy as any trainer you've seen.
