13 Σεπ 2016 · SIG Hog Bipe 1. IMO one of the BEST engineered airplane kits of all time. 2. All laser cut parts for perfect fit. It goes together as quickly as you can glue the pieces together. 3. Much better engineered top wing fitting and wing struts to ensure perfect alignment. 4, Great flying airplane!
9 Σεπ 2013 · Introduced by Sig in the mid ‘70s and still in production, the Mini Plane struggles to hide its vintage. It is, quite simply, a superb example of a ‘70s US R/C kit. It has some charm though, and brought back memories of watching father build his Sig Piper Cub, some thirty years ago!
19 Αυγ 2009 · What are the differences in the flight characteristics of these two planes? Which one do you like more? The Hog Bipe is more aerobatic and the longer tail moment makes it a lot easier to get in the air. The Mini is a ground looping queen! The looks of the Mini are better (At 44"wingspan, it is truly 1/4 scale).

Glow to Electric Conversions - Sig Smith Miniplane - I'm considering how much it'll cost to convert a Sig Smith Miniplane (biplane) to electric. Specs listed below. I'll have to get out the plans to measure how much clearance there is for the prop.
