6 Αυγ 2019 · That means you can easily get a close iron sight zero at 25 meters and move the target back to 100 for confirmation with the same accuracy standard. Also, at 100 meters, each square represents a quarter MOA, which lines up well with adjustments in a lot of modern optics.

After using the aperture, you have to adjust with the use of the front sight. For gun owners who are using an adjustable A2 type, a 25-yard zero is ideal for regulating the firearm’s elevation settings.
18 Φεβ 2024 · To sight in your rifle with iron sights, start by setting up your target at a distance of your choice. Then, take a few shots to see where your bullets are landing, and make adjustments to your sights accordingly until your shots are hitting the target where you want them to.

Minutes. The next step is to convert the number of inches from step 1 into minutes. The "length" of a Minute of Angle changes according to your distance from the target. If you shot your group at 50 yards, that means you move 1/2 inch for every minute of angle (see the 1 MOA chart above).
