Not just a scam a $49.00 scam. There are a lot of wifi boosters out there for a lot less and they actually work. This is a piece of garbage and does not deserve one star. I've written to customer service via-email more than a half dozen times and requested a refund or a replacement to no avail. Buyer Beware. Avoid SignalTech at all cost.
