The Simpsons (often shortened to Simpsons) is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The main characters are a satire of a working-class family, consisting of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie.
Some of the many recurring and regular characters in The Simpsons. Along with the Simpson family, The Simpsons includes a large array of characters: co-workers, teachers, family friends, extended relatives, townspeople, local celebrities. The creators originally intended many of these characters as one-time jokesters or for fulfilling needed functions in the town.
Season 36 is the current season of The Simpsons. It started on September 29, 2024 and was included on Disney+ on October 3, 2024 in Canada. It was confirmed on January 26, 2023, along Season 35.
