Click on the download button and download The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection.rar. Extract the “The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection” folder to your desktop. If you don’t know how to extract files, see this article: https://oldgamesdownload.com/wiki/install-games-on-windows/.
1. Install the Sims 2 normally from disc. 2. Copy the files from inside the downloaded zip and folder to "c:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\The Sims 2" and confirm to override the files already there. Just log into your Origin account, go to your Game Library, right-click on The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection and click Download. Choose the language, agree to EULAs without reading them, and proceed. The game should download and install automatically.
