18 Νοε 2019 · Download, update, repair your game and add missing DLC’s. “Wizard” Anadius came up with a program enabling you to update and repair your game with just a few mouse-clicks. Language files will be installed if not already present.
11 Ιουλ 2024 · Then repair the game through Steam: open your game library, right-click the Sims 4 tile, and select Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of the game files. Within Steam, find your new DLC and see whether it shows as installed there. If not, can you download it?
6 Οκτ 2024 · Once you have installed DLC Unlocker, follow these steps to start using it: 0. Get the Base Free Game: Get Sims 4 either on Steam or EA. Update your DLCs: Open the Sims 4 Updater folder and Run the Updater by clicking Sims-4-Updater. Then, browse to your folder of installation and install the DLCs.
Now, drag all those DLC folders into the “the sims 4 packs” folder. Next, download and open the DLC Unlocker V1 and run the fix origin.client.command. Now, open origin, and go offline.
10 Φεβ 2024 · You can now launch The Sims 4 and see if the DLC appears on your home screen. If not, just repeat the DLC Unlocker setup process (PART TWO). The DLC Unlocker functions as a repair tool as well, so use it whenever you have issues with your game.
There is currently an issue with Sims 4 where newly installed packs won't load in-game. The cause is that the EA App installs these packs into the wrong folder. The App shows the affected packs as installed, but the game doesn't read their data.
First, clear its cache: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/ Then open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair. If you don't have Origin installed anymore, please download it again; the EA App doesn't have the repair function.
