This mod allows you to try for baby even if you have the maximum of 8 Sims in your household. For example, in the Hikaru family there are already 9 Sims as you can see in the picture, and clicking on his wife you can see they can still Try for Baby.

Checked my game again. I have 12 sim in my houshold and no craches when saving. That special household was created by moving sims in by the sim_move command in MC. Maybe that can be a work around. Try moving more than 8 sims to a household and then save.
I basically use tm.fullhouse to add sims past MCCC max household allowed sims. The pregnancy should be available with your mod on these conditions? Yep it will only work when your sims try for baby, it doesn't let you add more sims in the household screen.
