Singapore Philatelic Museum opened on 19 August 1995 to promote interest in and the appreciation of Singapore's history and heritage in philately. Besides the permanent galleries, the theme galleries offered a host of changing exhibitions throughout the year.
Opened in 1995, the Singapore Philatelic Museum is the first of its kind in the region, showcasing Singapore’s philatelic heritage and postal artefacts from the 1830s to today. The family-friendly galleries showcase philatelic materials which are a window to the significant events, history and heritage and cultures of a country.

From City Hall MRT Station Exit B, Clarke Quay MRT Station Exit E, or Bras Basah MRT Station Exit D/E, take a 5 to 10 minutes walk to the Singapore Philatelic Museum. Admission is free for Singaporeans, $6 for non-Singaporean children aged 3 to 12, and $8 for non-Singaporean adults. The counter staff was very friendly.
