The peak hours for taxi services in Singapore are from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM and from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM. During these hours, there is a 25% surcharge on the metered fare. Late-night surcharges apply from midnight to 6:00 AM and are 50% of the metered fare.
During peak periods, taxis in Singapore impose an additional surcharge for rides, aimed to incentivize drivers to provide services during high-demand hours. The peak hour surcharge generally applies during weekdays from 6 am to 9:30 am and from 6 pm to midnight.
For non-peak periods, the booking fee is $2.30 for all companies, except for Prime ($2.50). For peak periods, the booking fee varies. Please contact the respective companies for more information.
