The Civil War comes to life in the Perryville Battlefield Museum. Examine actual battle artifacts, a Civil War display, and a map with the layout of the battle. Upon exiting the museum, be sure to stop by the Confederate monument nearby that was erected in 1902 and the Union monument added in 1931.
See It Now! The Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site, 2 miles north of Perryville, encompasses more than 890 acres of this historic Kentucky battlefield. The pristine nature of much of the battlefield, a museum, and a wide expanse of well-maintained trails makes this one of the best Civil War battlefields to visit.
