Hello All - looking for advice and counsel from those who fly and/or own a Pazmany PL-2; I've already done the online research; now interested in real-world experience with the aircraft, particularly its handling, maintenance, engine preferences, any gotchas.
8 Μαΐ 2019 · The PL-2 was a side-by-side two-seat, dual control, aircraft with a fixed tricycle undercarriage. The fuselage was built up of conventional pressed metal frames, longerons and skins. The all-flying tail was equipped with an anti-servo tab for trimming and providing adequate stick forces.
11 Μαρ 2010 · The PL-2 offers a wider cockpit, better canopy and fuselage lines, simplified dihedral, and the possibility of using engines from 90 to 150 hp. Despite its aerodynamically clean lines, there are no compound curves anywhere in the skin.
Sri Lanka PL-2. Sri Lanka Air Force PL-2 program started in 1977. First maiden test flight on April 11, 1980. Pazmany PL-2 aircraft was built by the Aircraft Engineering Wing of the Sri Lanka Air Force, under the personal supervision of Wing Commander N. Gunarathnam.
