Early in game: Enhanced dwarven crossbow, few early quests into dawnguard questline, Dawnbreaker, get the beacon from random chest past level 6(?), Champion's cudgel, I suggest level 20 as that's the lowest that the enemies scale or just 'get good', solid 2h weapon and the best offensive enchantment in the game
