21 Απρ 2024 · The Under Saarthal quest in Skyrim can be challenging, but we have you covered. In addition to solving tricky puzzles, you'll need to find 4 artifacts, including the Saarthal amulet. But once you retrieve the amulet, you'll wind up in a trap!
Meet Tolfdir and the trainees outside Saarthal. Follow Tolfdir into the ruins. Find Arniel Gane and help him find some artifacts. Use the Saarthal Amulet to escape the trap. Follow Tolfdir deeper into the ruins. Discover the danger within Saarthal. Talk to the Arch-Mage and receive your reward.
If you equip the amulet, it will trigger a visible resonance effect with the wall where it was found. Casting any targeted spell or shout at the wall with the amulet equipped will shatter the wall and disarm the trap, allowing you to proceed with the quest.
Learn of the Gauldur legend. Read Daynas Valen 's journal and notes in Folgunthur to learn the truth in the legend. Find the three parts of the amulet in Saarthal, Geirmund's Hall, and Folgunthur. Reforge the amulet in Reachwater Rock.
Use the Saarthal Amulet to escape the trap. To escape the trap, wear the amulet, then simply shatter the wall where you found the amulet. The bars will then be raised so go back out and speak to Tolfdir. He will ask you to follow him to explore Saarthal further.
When you pick up the amulet, it’ll trigger a barricade that’ll trap you in the room. Tolfdir and Arnel will come over and tell you to equip the amulet and use your magic spells on the wall where you found the amulet. When you do so, it’ll destroy the wall and allow you to pass through into a hidden area, previously unexplored by the college!
