Oculus just released Air Link for Quest, so now I can play Skyrim VR wirelessly, and still use ASW and Oculus Mirror for smooth streaming.
I'd recommend using Link and only changing the Supersampling through the Oculus software. If you're using Virtual Desktop the thin bars are likely due to your low frame rate when you move your head. Link handles this a lot more smoothly.
