8 Μαρ 2011 · #1. Mudbug time! Fit and finish is nice. Lock up good and tight. No blade play. Action is smooth and makes a nice sound when lock drops. The stonewashed finish is a bit different on this style of knife but well done. Good to see some Louisiana boys putting out a great knife! I might have to try toting a big boys knife for a bit.

Controversial. Old. Q&A. Add a Comment. deeterpeeter. •. Smith and Sons knives ‘Brave’ with bocote wood handle and a 3.5” acid washed blade in D2. Perfect size and super sharp. I also opted for the adventure carry sheath which is has got all kinds of straps and cords and such which I’ll probably never use but I think is really cool.
The Smith and Sons Spur is an outstanding small to medium sized fixed blade with a leather multi-mount sheath that’s just about perfect for daily carry. It’s small batch produced and made in the USA by a small, family owned business in Sulpher, Louisiana.
