All BAR Licensed SMOG Check Repair Technicians need to have completed a minimum of 16 hours of BAR approved training every two years prior to renewing their license. The four-hour online BAR Inspector Update Training counts towards this 16-hour requirement.
These classes are required for licensed Smog Check Repair Technicians renewing their repair technicians license. Classes are 12-hours, which when combined with the mandated 4-hour inspector online training sastifies the BAR’s 16-hour training requirement.
