12 Απρ 2017 · Song of Napalm nails it all, and it’s the type of collection that will rip your heart out. Repeatedly. And it’s that last bit that makes me think about emotion in memoir, or at least the way a memoirist chooses to convey their narrator.
Napalm is a flammable liquid that used in the war. Weigl is describing napalm as the jelly, and that got the stick on the girl’s dress. Weigl uses these literally devices to show his memories of the horrifying war. “Song of Napalm” by Weigl is one of the best poems, he wrote this poem to his wife.
