The term bene Elohim (the sons of god) refers to the sons of the judges who dispensed God’s (Elohim) justice. Others say that Elohim refers to God Himself and the sons of God are holy ones (saints) living on earth.

22 Σεπ 2016 · First of all, you are asking about "sons of god" (בני האלהים). Your reference to Tehillim (psalms), does not use that Hebrew term. So strictly speaking, there are only four references, not five. But the commentaries to Tehillim do associate the term בני אלים to one of the meanings relating to the usage in Genesis.

The expression sons of God employs a Hebrew idiom in which “son(s)” refers to participants in a class or in a state of being, and the second word describes the class or state of being. Thus, in Genesis 5:32 , Noah is said to be a “son of five hundred years,” meaning he was 500 years old.
