I just got a brand new A7 IV and none of my video clips play on my PC. Playback is either garbage with popping sound or not playing at all with format error. All other footage I have plays back fine in Premiere Pro, Window's Media Player, VLC (from Sony A7III, FX6, FX9 cameras....).
When the playback mode of the camera is selected from a mobile device or via the live view remote control, video recorded on the camera memory card will be played back without any sound. In order to hear the sound, you will first need to transfer the video file from your memory card to your computer or mobile device and then play the video.
19 Σεπ 2016 · I shot a video using a Sony Handycam with a SanDisk Ultra Plus 64gb chip. When I play it using Widows Media Center I get audio only, no video. When I play it back on the Handycam I see the video clearly.
I am not receiving any audio while live capturing into my PC with the HDR-CX405. I am running the HDMI out, into a brand new Blackmagic pro recorder, then to my PC via USB. I am receiving video, but no audio.
