I actually was introduced to the Sopranos on A&E before quickly deciding to rent the DVDs from Blockbuster (this makes me feel ancient). I think it was just too heavily edited for it to work. I will say that I could still tell that it was a great show, edits and all, which is why I rented the DVDs.
