Within the story, Sora is strong. One of the strongest character among the main characters in the series. His best feat is of course to be able to fight against Xehanort with the χ-blade. He sure couldn't beat him without Donald and Goofy's hand but he can somehow keep up with him, which is an incredible feat.

He is a playable character in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, and Kingdom Hearts III. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, he is only playable in Mission Mode.
Kairi x Sora or Sokai is the ship between Sora (ソラ) and Kairi (カイリ). In Japanese it's called 空海 from the kanji for sky (sora) and sea (kai). The ship originated in Kingdom Hearts I with the introduction of both characters involved.

This relationship has been sorely under developed in this series since KH1, but in KH1 it was fantastic. Sora's entire motivating factor most of the game was finding Kairi, then he sacrifices himself for her, then she rescues him.
Sora is a cheerful, young boy hailing from the Destiny Islands and the main protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series. Longing to see the worlds outside of his own, he and his friends Riku and Kairi pledged to build a raft and set out together.
