9 Δεκ 2023 · In an update Tuesday, Dec. 12, Ventura County Fire Department reported the South Fire was 100% contained after a night of suppression efforts across South Mountain. A total of 450 firefighters continue to make progress extinguishing the South Fire, and Ventura County Fire Department is reporting 70% containment as of Monday, Dec. 11.
