10 Οκτ 2024 · The Fire Wave is a popular 1.5-mile out-and-back hike at Valley of Fire. Starting in Parking Lot #3 (the final parking area on White Dome Road before it ends by White Domes Trail), head to the west side of the road at a well-marked trailhead for the Fire Wave Trail.
9 Δεκ 2021 · Access Info. From Las Vegas, take Interstate 15 north for about 35 miles to exit 75 (signs for Valley of Fire State Park and Lake Mead National Recreation Area). At the end of the offramp, go southeast on Valley of Fire Highway. Reach the park’s west entrance after 14.5 miles.
The park resides just an hour outside Las Vegas. It is recommended to enjoy this area during the year's cooler months. During the summer, the temperature is well over 100 degrees, and the trail has no shade. The Fire Wave is best photographed in the late afternoon and early evening.
