Space Channel 5 is a music video game in which players take on the role of Ulala, a reporter working for the titular news channel in a 1960s-styled science fiction future filled with competing news channels.
Ulala is the main protagonist of the Space Channel 5 series. She is a human news reporter who joined Space Channel 5 in 2497, later acting as their lead investigative reporter for the Special Report Team during the Morolian Invasion and Rhythm Rogue Incident of 2499.
Space Channel 5 is a rhythm-based video game created by United Game Artists, and released on the SEGA Dreamcast in 1999. The game follows Channel 5 's last hope, Ulala, as she struts onto the scene to keep the station on the air.
The Space Channel 5 series is a rhythm video game series developed by United Game Artists and published by Sega which follows the story of the super reporter, Ulala, starting with the release of Space Channel 5, for the Dreamcast on December 16, 1999.
Within the fictional universe of Space Channel 5, Ulala is a reporter for the titular news channel and recurring savior of the galaxy who defeats alien forces with dance moves, alongside rival reporters Pudding and Jaguar.
