Every AVE train uses high-speed routes to connect major Spanish cities, being Renfe‘s principal train service. Renfe is Spain’s national train operator, and their premier high-speed trains are branded AVE which stands for Alta Velocidad Española (Spanish High-Speed).

4 Ιουλ 2019 · Spain’s national rail operator Renfe offers its premium high-speed train service, AVE, on routes between a few French cities, Barcelona, and Madrid and other major destinations throughout Spain. AVE trains reach speeds of 310 km/hr (193 mph), while still offering a very smooth ride.
17 Δεκ 2017 · AVE trains are used on all services between Spain and France except for trains running to Paris and Toulouse (which use TGV INOUI trains). Within Spain, AVEs operate on many routes from the Spanish capital, connecting Madrid with Barcelona, Seville, Léon , Alicante, Málaga and Valencia.
