ABSTRACT. The general purpose of this study is to determine the issues and challenges of special education (SPED) teachers in teaching children with learning disabilities in the City Division of Ilagan Isabela, Philippines. The 15 SPED teachers were served as the respondents of this study using purposive sampling technique.
These programs and services refer to academic interventions, curriculum adaptations, learning resource support, career and guidance counseling programs, and transition programs focusing on technical-vocational competencies and/or special interest skills development.
