SUA is a term for various types of segregated airspace where activities may impact air operations. Examples are prohibited, restricted, danger, temporary and cross-border areas.
Special use airspace (SUA) is a type of special airspaces in the United States designated for operations of a nature such that limitations may be imposed on aircraft not participating in those operations. Often these operations are of a military nature.
SAA is a project being undertaken to unify how SUA's (and ATCAA 's) are defined, managed, and shared. Manage the schedule and status of those airspaces through a SOA. SAA is part of the System Wide Information Management (SWIM). In short, SAA encompasses SUA, ATCAA, etc.
