Speech-language pathology services at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center include comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, consultations, parent counseling, and treatment for children with communication or feeding / swallowing disorders.
Pediatric speech-language pathologists assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent disorders related to speech, language, cognitive communications, voice, swallowing, and fluency. Our therapists work with patients on components of speech production and language, as well as oral motor and feeding.
Laurel Speech Therapy provides speech and language therapy for toddlers and children in Cincinnati. Laurel’s approach is play-based and highly collaborative.
Speech-Language Therapy Locations. CCIC, Inc. has two convenient office locations:
One purpose of therapy is to help the child meet certain goals. In each therapy session, the speech-language pathologist (SLP) works directly with the child on developing new skills. We also train the parents or caregivers on how to work with the child at home.
