Blinded (...) You can blind or deafen a foe. Choose one creature that you can see within range to make a Constitution saving throw. If it fails, the target is either blinded or deafened (your choice) for the duration. At the end of each of its turns, the target can make a Constitution saving throw. On a success, the spell ends.
22 Ιαν 2023 · As a player, the easiest way to get access to the blinded condition is through spells. Many spells offer blindness as part of their effects, if not the focus of its effect to begin with. Here are some examples of the spells that let you get the blinded condition onto your foes:
If a caster is blinded, how would you handle spells that requires saving throws. Most would just say point to an area, but not that they need to see that area, but I feel that either have advantage on the saving throw or have the PC succeed on a DC check to see if they hit the target.
Spells that require a spell attack roll like acid arrow work like regular attacks that are made while blinded - with disadvantage. You don't have to see your target, but they'll be harder to hit - think Acid Arrow, Chill touch, eldrich blast. Fireball can target "a point you choose within range".
