This is a great family-friendly trail as it offers increasingly more technical aspects and makes for a great out and back hike. Bring your water shoes and plenty of drinking water. Like all tight canyons in this area, it is susceptible to flash floods so keep an eye on the weather.

My buddy Lee and I took an impromptu trip to Squaw Creek Canyon outside of Marsing Idaho to get in some hiking.
The Squaw Creek trail is 6.4 miles long. It begins at Trailhead @ End Of Squaw Cr Road and ends at Junction with Mckay-eleven #4151. The trail is open for the following uses: Horseback Riding, Motorcycle Trail Riding, Off Highway Vehicles (OHV) less than or equal to 50 inches wide.

26 Μαρ 2018 · Squaw Creek and Jump Creek Canyons are located in the southwest corner of Idaho with hiking trails and a gorgeous waterfall. One of the joys of RVing is the ability to leisurely enjoy lesser-known attractions off the beaten path and camp away from the city crowds.
This seemingly out-of-place canyon is scarcely as wide as the creek running in it at the bottom and features nearly vertical canyon walls as high as 700 feet (213 m). The canyon is easily accessed by a short hike as the canyon is only about a half mile (0.8 km) from highway 95.
