The SSC Ultimate Aero sets the benchmark for supercars today. Achieving tremendous power via its twin turbo V-8 engine, it produces 1,183 horsepower and 1094 ft.-lbs. of torque making the Ultimate Aero the world's most powerful production car.
Thanks to these astonishing figures, the 4.475-metre-long, 2.100-metre-wide and 1.092-metre-high SSC Ultimate Aero storms from a standstill to 60 mph (96.56 km/h) in just 2.78 seconds. The dynamic power athlete masters the quarter mile, famous in the USA, in just 9.90 seconds.
The SSC Ultimate Aero TT on offer is Serial No. 001 and is one of 24 produced between 2006 and 2007. Powered by a midmounted, twin-turbocharged 6.3L V-8 engine rated at 1,183 HP and 1,094 lb-ft of torque, the supercar uses a 6-speed manual transmission to channel the power to the rear wheels.
With 1183 bhp and 1094 ft-lbs of torque, the Ultimate Aero produces more emissions-legal horsepower than any other production automobile in the world (another Guinness World RecordTM for which SSC is currently applying).
