St Mary’s Hospital is a large acute hospital, hosting one of London’s four major trauma centres, alongside a specialist children's emergency department. It serves as the lead centre for children’s intensive care in North West London and is a national centre (one of five) for High Consequence Infectious Diseases (HCID) in children.
