Real property is taxable in the county where the land is located, and personal property is taxable in the county where the owner maintains a permanent legal residence unless otherwise provided by law. The calculation of property tax is: 40% of the Assessed Value of property X the Millage Rate = Property Tax Bill.
Some of the more actively maintained GIS layers include addresses, roads, zoning, DFIRM (flood map layers) and City boundaries. We also house a variety of other datasets including water, sewer, wetlands and stormwater layers.
