The DSD course offered by Nurse Development Center in Cypress, CA, is a comprehensive 24-hour education training program specifically designed for individuals seeking to meet the criteria for the Director of Staff Development (DSD) position in accordance with the regulations set forth by the CA Code of Regulations Title 22, Division 5, Chapter 2.
Within six (6) months of employment and prior to teaching a certification program, the Director of Staff Development or Instructor shall obtain a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours of continuing education courses in planning, implementing and evaluation educational programs in nursing.
